Puissalicon, a feudal village in Languedoc-Roussillon, at the edge of the Cévennes, is home to Domaine la Croix Belle, an estate that has been owned by the Boyer family for over three centuries. In 1977, already persuaded with the greatness of the terroir of our region, Jacques and Françoise Boyer not only took over the familial domaine , but chose to put the emphasis of their work on the quality of their production and commit to the highest expectations, thus becoming one of the multiple engines of the current come back of the Languedoc wines great reputation.

The vineyard is spread over 70 hectares, and is planted of 16 grape varieties. The domaine produces wines of impeccable character and true originality, the quality of which may be attributed to terroir. Vine growing is in its prime location here: the roots provide strength to the plant from a clever mix of clay, limestone, gravel, silt and pebbles, and the fruit ripens beautifully under the bright Languedoc sun.
