La Grande Neuve Figeac
Figeac, a first great classified growth, has a rich history marked by the men and women who have created the Figeac legend since the second century AD.
Beyond the watchful eye it keeps over this lovingly cared for environment, the Manoncourt Family cherishes above all the values and traditions which make up the soul of this place and the special style of Chateau Figeac.
In 2002, the Manoncourt family acquired Château Petit-Figeac and Château La Fleur Pourret. Château La Fleur porret is a Grand Cru typical of the Saint-Emilion plateau and Château Petit-Figeac once belonged to the vast Figeac estate. Since 2006 a new brand has been born “Petit-Figeac” alongside the second wine, “La Grange Neuve de Figeac.”
The history of Château Figeac spans 20 centuries of passionate commitment demonstrated by the men and women who have dedicated themselves to the success of this magical place. Thierry and Marie-France Manoncourt left their own individual mark on its history through their elegance and visionary approach, enhancing the prestige of the wines of Figeac. Faithful to these values, Mrs. Manoncourt continues to run this First Classified Growth, alongside Count Eric d’Aramon and his wife Laure.
