Château du Tertre
“Grand Cru Classé”
Château du Tertre is an estate old of 100 years whose vineyard remains unchanged since the mid 1950s. The vineyard extends over 52 hectares. During the 19th Century, the Château reached the worldwide fame level especially in 1855 after the Classification of the same year where it was established as a Margaux Grand Cru Classé. In 1997, Eric Albada Jelgersma, a businessman from Netherlands, bought the estate and invested to restructure it on a large-scale, thus returning its former noble personality to the Château du Tertre.
